The Star Trac strength products warranty is intended for use in all facility types: full commercial, light commercial, and consumer. Please contact your sales representative for specific questions or details about your warranty.
Star Trac warrants all frameworks for a period of 10 years. This limited warranty on structural frame does not including coatings. The following moving parts are warranted for 5 years: rotary bearings, weight stacks, pulleys, guide rods, and structural moving parts. All unlisted parts are warranted for 1 year. Upholstery is warranted for 6 months and is for stitching only. Warranty is for parts only. Warranty is good and available to the original purchaser only as noted by Star Trac Strength invoice and is not neither transferable nor assumable. Star Trac Strength cannot warrant products that have been abused, neglected and/or poorly maintained. All equipment should be reviewed at the time of delivery for damage, breakage, loosening of nuts and bolts, components and/or any other moving parts. Any and all claims for warranty must be received in writing within 10 days of defect. Do not alter, modify or redesign any Star Trac Strength products or use any replacement parts or materials other than those components original to Star Trac Strength, as it will limit the warranty and liability of Star Trac Strength. Star Trac Strength reserves the right to change, replace or modify products, parts, accessories and/or design without notice. Deposits on cancelled orders will be subject to handling and restocking charges.
This warranty does not apply to appearance items of the product, the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subject to abuse, misuse, accident, negligence, lack of normal maintenance, abnormal service or handling as specified for this model, improper installation, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction. Star Trac is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind resulting from defect(s) in the product.
The limited warranty described above is in addition to whatever implied warranties may be granted purchaser by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE ARE LIMITED TO A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts. No one is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of this warranty on behalf of Star Trac.
The warranties described above shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser. Correction of defects, in the manner and for the period of time described above, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Star Trac to the purchaser with respect to the product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise. In no event shall Star Trac be liable or in any other way responsible for damages or defects in the product which were caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than a Star Trac Technical Representative or Authorized service Contractor. Nor shall Star Trac be liable or in any way responsible for any incidental or consequential economic or property damage. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS IN SOME U.S. STATES. |
