The Star Trac consumer warranty is intended exclusively for usage in the home.
STAR TRAC by UNISEN, INC. warrants to the original Purchaser that its fitness products are free of defects in workmanship and materials. For treadmills, CV Bikes, Elliptical EDGEÆ and stairclimbers for personal use in a home. Parts and labor are covered for a period of three (3) years from date of purchase. V-bikeÆ warranty for home use is one (1) year. Frame welds are warranted for five (5) years. During the applicable warranty period, STAR TRAC will either repair or replace, at its option, defective part(s) at no charge. In order to implement the provisions of this limited warranty, the Purchaser must contact STAR TRAC Product Support at (800) 503-1221. Be prepared to provide the product serial number and a detailed description of the problem. Proof-of-purchase of warranty registration will be needed to verify warranty effectively and obtain warranty service and/or parts. Do not return defective parts for repair or replacement without prior authorization from STAR TRAC.

- Treadmill motor & MCB warranties include labor to match the parts warranty period.
- Star Trac does not warrant the heart rate system performance on its products, as the heart rate system performance varies, based on a user's physiology, fitness level, age, method of use and other factors.
- Wear items are defined as and are not limited to treadmill deck, running belt, motor brushes, drive belts, seats, pedal covers and hand grips.
- The NXT Spinner frame warranty includes corrosion to the frame.
- The Personal Viewing Screen Kit warranty covers input ports, including USB, composite inputs, headphone jack, and iPod® connector (on available models) for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase and there is no labor coverage on these parts.
Running belt tracking and tension adjustments and other preventive maintenance procedures are the Purchaser's responsibility and are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, lack of normal maintenance, abnormal service or handling from that specified for this model, improper installation or operation. In addition, alteration or modification of the product, or repair by anyone other than a STAR TRAC Technical Representative or Authorized Service Provider will void this warranty. This warranty is valid only in the continental United States.
Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Repair or replacement as provided above shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the Purchaser. STAR TRAC shall not be liable or in any way responsible for any incidental or consequential damages based upon breach of any express or implied warranty on this product or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which may vary from state to state.
